A generation of a changing world

After the sad demise of Michael Jackson I realized that this generation has seen some of the most revolutionary changes in this world.

Of course, the biggest change of them all is the invention of the millennium called INTERNET and the way it has taken over our lives. The advent and spread of the Personal Computer follows it hand in hand. But another change equally epic compared to these two is the way Cellphones have dominated our lives. These three are the main technological changes witnessed by this generation.

Apart from these, as I have mentioned earlier, we saw the coming, the rise, the fall and the exit of the king of pop. Never had the world experienced a phenomenon like MJ in history and I doubt that it ever will in the future. To reach such heights as an artist is impossible but add to it the fact that he INVENTED a new style of dancing on his own is just too much to digest for me. I cannot imagine the amount of creativity that he had in him to achieve this feat.

Not to forget the world changing 9/11 attack on the WTC and also the second worlwide economic crisis faced by the world bigger than the Great Depression itself.
Add to all of this the changing of the last four figures in the date...yes, the dawn of another millennium.

I must say all of this is rather too much to take. I wonder what more is in store for this generation...
