Dialogue Between 2 Aliens II

A: Earth is so weird. The more I observe it the more I keep coming across totally bizarre sights.
B: Huh? Now what? You saw something again?
A: Actually yes. I was basically observing the growth of these 2 individuals from birth. This one here,say X, was brought up in pretty healthy conditions in this country called India. This other person here, say Y, was brought up in pretty good conditions as well in a country called USA. However both the conditions were distinctly different. And depending upon their conditions their reaction to different circumstances also follows a pattern.
B: That's is interesting. So you mean to say that given a particular situation, if both of them are asked to handle the same situation then their ways, reactions, results etc. will be totally different?
A: You said it but you missed the important part. Their style depends on their upbringing!
B: Indeed! The environment has a strong influence on the growth of an individual. That makes me think, suppose we raise a human from birth telling him that bitter is good and sweet is bad does that mean that he will like eating bitter food more and will turn his face to a foul expression when eating sweet food?
A: I was thinking the same thing. The example that you have given is rather basic but it is right. I think they can mend an individual in much better ways if what we are assuming is correct. Given a correct environment, and individual can be brought up to be what this planet really needs. Not some french fries munching obese burden on earth!
B: I couldn't agree more. Like for example these earthlings have a tendency to eat harmful food, pollute the environment etc all only because that's is what they see around them since their childhood. One will need to grow new earthlings in total isolation to prevent bad influence from affecting them.
A: Agreed. But I dont really think any of the earthlings will be willing to do something so different. Isolation from society is difficult, let alone create a new society. But then the right path is always the difficult one.
B: I agree with you too. All these humans seem to be doing more of the same thing to solve their problems rather than embracing a new approach!
