Today is the festive day of Dhanteras, the day on which buying certain things like gold, hard furnishing, electronics etc. because it is supposed to be auspicious and brings more wealth(not money) into the home.
Not surprisingly, the banking network for processing cashless transactions of HDFC bank seems to have crashed. Having to swipe your credit/debit card more than three times, failed online transactions and many similar instances are what led me to believe that the infrastructure has crashed as a result of rush buying.
Way to go developing Indian Economy.
