I think this problem might be present in other Symbian v5 phones as well. What happens is that the volume button for the music player suddenly stops working. I found out the reason for this to be the Vodafone Mobbler. If I run Mobbler first and then my Music Player I encounter this problem. So I have to restart Mobbler which solves the issue.
