I hate Microsoft

After having been forced to use Internet Explorer at my workplace this outburst of hatred toward Microsoft does not come as a surprise to me. However, upon careful inspection of my inner self I realised I harbor a lot of hatred not just for Internet Explorer but also many other Microsoft products that people have been victimised to.
I would like to start with IE. The IE on my terminal has been crashing repeatedly for almost a week now! I am sure it has something to do with it not being able to handle the user rights granted to my user ID. Furthermore, I use a higher resolution...higher than 1024x768, which is the resolution most sites are designed to work at best. However, using a higher resolution results in a lot of space on either side of the page being blank and wasted. This also results in smaller text size. So I, like a normal human being, press Ctrl and scroll up to zoom in into the page. And what does retarded IE do? It simply zooms in without taking care of centering the zoomed page. Which results in the page shifting to the right and the horizontal scroll bar gets activated. Should you perform this same operation in Firefox, the browser zooms you in and keeping the page in the centre at all time. However, this is only the beginning of what IE is capable of.
I used to use hotmail. But then I stopped using it. The reason: the advertisements which appear in the inbox etc are such that they expand and cover the inbox! I mean OMFG...they are invading my private space by putting an advertisement there in the first place but to block my view of my inbox because of that stupid ad is crossing the line by all definitions! Not only this, even if I click the ad, hoping that this would make it go away, it does not! I sent an infuriated mail to them saying I was moving to gmail and was never to return. I never received any response.
Next comes facebook chat. I have not seen a shittier chat program in my life. It is full of bugs! People going offline despite them being online. Showing an incorrect number of online people in my list which when clicked on - change status to offline. Consuming huge amounts of bandwidth when compared to other chat programs. The list just goes on.

If Microsoft wants to invade our privacy, I dont mind. If you are dumb enough not to realise that they are peeking into your bedsheets it's your fault as much as it is theirs. If Microsoft wants to charge exorbitant prices by monopolizing the market the blame lies upon its competitors. But all I ask is, Microsoft is the largest Software producing firm in the world. At least code your softwares properly. Be good at the one thing you are really supposed to be good at!
