I have been in a relationship since quite some time now and I have had the misfortune of having the character to tell my parents about it...almost since the day it started. I call it misfortune for, like millions of other parents, my parents also seem to think that this is not the right age for engaging in relationships of this type. But how do they seem to fail to accept a simple fact that "this" type of relationship is an extremely important part of one's life...maybe more important that any other. To find a good job they want us to study. Then why not allow us to educate ourselves on the aspect of life called relationships? Parents want their child to get a head start in algebra so they make the kid take tuitions. But why is it wrong to get a head start on relationships in life? I think the sooner one starts seeing others the more one is bound to learn about relationships.
