I found out a couple of days ago that Microsoft is releasing Fable 3 for PC, finally, in May 2011. That is a full one year after it was released for XBOX360.
Obviously, this is an extremely cheap marketing tactic by Microsoft for trying to sell their XBOX to desperate gamers. However, what Microsoft fails to realize is that their games are not good enough to motivate me to buy their gaming console.
Hell, being denied one of the very good RPG games completely on PC (Fable 2) and making me wait a year for another (Fable 3) has motivated me enough to show my middle finger to Microsoft trying to impose their monopoly on the gaming console market. Since Fable 3 is so old now I am not even interested in playing it on PC. Not when I have other kickass choices like Skyrim, Dota2, Portal 2 etc. Double loss for Microsoft trying to act too smart when their own game developing is seriously lacking compared to the likes of Valve, Blizzard, Bethesda etc.
