Almost 3 weeks after ordering my Kindle I am in possession of it. Thanks to DHL, I had to make 4 international calls worth 400 rupees and forego on a refund of 2000 rupees against my customs deposit. All this because first DHL loses the invoice of the package and on top of that, includes the amount I paid for duty AND shipping in the calculation of customs. So although I had already paid a duty of 107$ Amazon will have to pay more on my behalf because of DHL's retardedness. Below is a glimpse of how retarded DHL is (time taken within India to deliver from Delhi to Hyd is more than the time taken by the package to reach from US to Delhi):
