You CANNOT do the above specified operation i.e. F2 and then Ctrl+Shift+Enter on multiple cells. You have to do it individually on each cell. I tried refering to Excel help and there also it has been specified, although not stressed upon enough, that you have do it individually for each cell.
However you can create a macro for doing this. Another solution is applying and using formulae in such a way that you do not have to apply it individually.
